George Soule Presents At Tribal Courts Seminar

January 24, 2025. George Soule presented today at a seminar – Indian Law and Tribal Courts in Minnesota – at the Minnesota Justice Center in St. Paul. George joined Court of Appeals Judge Sarah Wheelock, Tribal Court Judges Megan Treuer and Shauna Coons, and ICWA Attorney Jody Alholinna to discuss Tribal Courts and Indian law issues with appellate court judges, law clerks, and others. Court of Appeals Judge Keala Ede introduced the seminar. George spoke about his experience as a Tribal Court of Appeals Judge for five Minnesota Tribes, Rule 10 of the Minnesota Rules of General Practice (Tribal Court Orders and Judgments), and civil and criminal jurisdiction in Tribal Courts.
