July 20, 2016. We encourage all Minnesota voters to vote in the state’s August 9 Primary Election. There are three candidates for the Minnesota Supreme Court on the Primary ballot. The top two vote-getters will go to the General Election on November 8. This is a very important race and the only statewide primary race. Voter turnout will be low – so your vote is important! You can vote in the Primary before August 9 by requesting an absentee ballot from the Secretary of State here or by going to your municipality’s early voting site. (For example, in Minneapolis, you can vote at the Early Vote Center at 217 South Third Street.) George and Melissa voted today.
